Internship Apprenticeship Program

An internship is a system of training in which the trainee gets an opportunity to learn necessary skills and knowledge, which are required by him in getting jobs. Apprenticeship is a work based training, whereas internship is a work based learning. The time duration of apprenticeship is longer than the internship training.

Mentorship Apprenticeship Program

In an apprenticeship, a skill expert (journeyperson) passes on knowledge and skills to learners (apprentices) in the workplace. Mentorship is the process where an experienced worker (mentor) works with and educates a less experienced worker (apprentice) to help foster skill development and professional growth.

WIOA Dislocated Workers

The purpose of the WIOA Dislocated Worker program is to help dislocated workers become reemployed through job search assistance and/or training that builds their occupational skills to meet labor market needs. This program's success is measured by participants' entry into unsubsidized employment, retention in unsubsidized employment, and average earnings.

Pre-Apprenticeship Program

 Pre-apprenticeship is a program or set of strategies designed to prepare individuals for entry into Register Apprenticeship Programs (RAP) or other job opportunities. Pre-apprenticeships may last from a few weeks to a few months and may or may not include wages or stipend.

YouthBuild Apprenticeship Program

YouthBuild is a community-based pre-apprenticeship program that provides job training and educational opportunities for at-risk youth ages 16-24 who have previously dropped out of high school. Youth learn vocational skills in construction, as well as in other in-demand industries that include health care, information technology, and hospitality.

Re-Entry Apprentice Pushing Forward

The Reentry Employment Opportunities (REO) program provides funding, authorized as Research and Evaluation under Section 169 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014, for justice-involved youth and young adults and adults who were formerly incarcerated.
